Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven’t updated the blog section of this website in so very long. I had a sudden urge to work on my sites and wanted to have some manner of cohesiveness. If I did my research right, you should be arriving from my deviantArt, flavors.me or my tumblr. For all intended purposes, tumblr is the MAIN blog and this is the MAIN GALLERY site. Flavors.Me is the cohesive element, bringing all of my feeds together for your ease of use!
A gallery update has been scheduled for November and I’ll do my best to add as much art as I can find (the Academic section is in dire need of some art!).
As you’ve probably seen on my devArt page, I’ve made a new project for the upcoming year!
Rather masochist of me, taking on a new one since I have four or five to tend to, but I honestly don’t feel inspired to continue any of them right now (see here that matter). You can blame good ol’ Calculus 2 for that one.
78pueblos is my newest brainchild, spawned after many conversations with my boyfriend, Dia and Ivi about how many Puerto Ricans are on devArt and how many would actually come out of hiding to participate on a collaboration.
At present time, I’m still working out some details (the ever-expanding membership, printing cost, and the like) to be ready to start on January 2010.
Hopefully there will be an update on a new gallery subsection dedicated to all my classwork (some of which I’m quite proud of) in the near future.
Take care!
Sincerely,
G. Santana
Read about it here (spanish)
It’s going to be huge, with several of the campus’ artists drawing and exposing their work to the general public and guests all day.
My Perspective professor invited me to the event so I’m super psyched to get some exposure and a well deserved break from Calculus and Java.
I’ll be working with many traditional mediums, mainly charcoal, inks, watercolors and pastels (need to practice them a bit more though) inside and around the building from 8 am to 4 pm.
So, if anyone’s in the vicinity of Mayaguez, feel free to drop by and be part of this event! =D Maybe I’ll do some requests…
*bricked* Bad pun, I know, but it gets the general idea out so bear with me.
PLEASE, DO NOT ASK ME TO UPDATE THE COMICS.
If I had known that they would be so time-consuming, I wouldn’t have started them in the first place! It’s not to say I’m not grateful for the support (I most certainly am really), but I’m not at all pleased at the comments that basically demand I put up a page ASAP.
ALL COMICS ARE ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Thanks for reading!
Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been looking for a more convenient gallery codes. As of March 30, I’m starting on these gallery updates:
Going with the roll, I’m going to update:
Hopefully, all of these will be done by summertime so stay tuned!
Welcome to Delicate-Sketches.net, my personal portfolio website. Here you’ll find the various endeavors both into original and fan content.
Feel free to poke and look around, as more content will be added as I continue to work on this site.
Sincerely yours,
G.Santana
